Michael Parks
Broker-In-Charge
Michael Parks grew up in a real estate household in the Carolinas and has helped his father, Coleman Parks, run their real estate development business in Pender County, North Carolina since 2019. Michael has been a licensed North Carolina real estate broker since 2020 and has been fortunate to learn from his father who has over 40 years of experience in real estate brokerage - ranging from residential development and investment properties to focusing on the sale of timberland, farmland, and recreational properties.
Michael specializes in buying and selling all types of land in southeastern North Carolina as well as assisting clients with land entitlement and land improvements. He is fully capable of taking property through the entitlement process to achieve its highest & best use which likely increases the value of the property significantly. With access to equipment like forestry mowers, grading equipment, as well as preliminary soils sampling and county maps info, Michael can build a comprehensive property report for a buyer during their due diligence period or help a seller understand the value of their property & what improvements can be made to increase that value. Forest resources, land management, and experience in 1031 tax-deferred exchanges are offered as well. Whether a client is seeking land or a lot to build their dream home on, to subdivide and market their land at an increased value, or finding recreational hunting land, they can count on him to help them purchase or sell their dream properties.
Michael's expertise includes lots for sale, residential land for sale, undeveloped land for sale, farms for sale, waterfront property, hunting land, fishing properties, recreational properties, and coastal homes in the Hampstead, North Carolina area located in Pender County and just above Wilmington, NC. Other areas he serves include Brunswick County, New Hanover County, and Onslow County but Michael will happily serve as a buyer's agent or listing agent for any and all North Carolina real estate.
Michael attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington and graduated Cum Laude in 2018 from the Cameron School of Business with a Professional Selling degree. He is an alumni member of Pi Sigma Epsilon, the only national co-ed professional fraternity in the fields of sales, marketing and management. PSE features the Pro-Am Sell-A-Thon, the largest sales competition in the nation, which Michael competed in and received 1st place at the Southeastern Regional in Knoxville and went on to finish in 4th place at the National Competition in San Diego out of 275 competitors and 35 universities. Fishing on the boat for speckled trout or striped bass is where you can usually find Michael in his free time but he loves to hunt turkeys, ducks, and dove when he can as well. He enjoys camping and spending time outdoors with his family as they enjoy all of the opportunities that coastal North Carolina living has to offer.
